Is it that the one about
the little girl who
wanders around the jungle
with no parental supervision
avoiding crisis and conversing
with the local wildlife
with the aid of her foreign
language-speaking monkey?

 basics
NAME: Nymphadora Brian Tonks
NICKNAMES: Dora, Dory, Kiddo
AGE / BIRTHDAY: 7 / January 28, 1973
BLOOD STATUS / ABILITY: Halfblood / Metamorphmagus
OCCUPATION: Crayon artist, explorer, and child terrorist

 about
Nymphadora's existence is proof of the rift in the Noble House of Black. Before her birth, her mother Andromeda Black had her place on the Black family tree blasted off after her marriage to the muggleborn wizard Ted Tonks. Producing a child with Ted only further solidified Andromeda's disownment. Nymphadora is a child stuck between two worlds, of which are both currently engaged in a war with one another. With a disowned mother, two disowned cousins, and many run-ins with Death Eater family members throughout the war, she can't help but be curious about the Black side of her family. By no means does she dislike her life, or dislike her parents. In fact, she knows if her mother hadn't picked her father over her family, she might not be around. However, Nymphadora is still young and innocent for the most part, and doesn't see why that should mean her mother's family should disown and dislike her if they got to know here. Therefore, Dora desires to come in contact with the Blacks, and to attempt to impress them with her charm and usual magical abilities, especially at such a young age. She knows she shouldn't, and potential interaction with a bunch of Death Eaters could bring harm to her, her parents, or the Order, but she hopes that if she manages to impress her family, it will somehow bring her mother back in their good graces.

Naturally, Nymphadora is chestnut-haired, pale-skinned, blue-eyed, freckly child. However, as a Metamorphmagus, her natural appearance is rarely seen. Still working on mastering her ability to change her appearance, Dora is constantly experimenting and mimicking looks around her. Her ability was discovered shortly after birth, when her blue eyes turned to mimic her father's. However, Dora has had to learn how to handle her ability on her own, as the Metamorphmagus population is not very large. Luckily for her, she has an avid imagination and determination, and she believes if she can think it, she can do it. Most commonly changing her hair to hot pink, teal, and royal purple, she does the occasional bird beak, kitten whiskers, or rabbit ears to see if anyone is paying attention. She tries to pick colors that are the most unnatural and shocking. She dislikes pale and light colors, such as a peach or lavender, but she isn't opposed to experimenting with them. She absolutely hates green on her head, but likes it in her drawings.
